Scott Honda of West Chester

Scott Gives Back during Team Week of Service!

American Honda is committed to being a company that society wants to exist, and they take their responsibility of giving back to the communities that support them very seriously. To fulfill this mission, American Honda began this voluntary campaign of service in solidarity in 2016.

This year’s 4th annual Team Week of Service coincides with American Honda’s 60th anniversary in the US.

For 2019, Honda dealers and manufacturers across the country planned a records-setting 593 projects in their communities to participate in this nationwide team-building effort.

Scott Honda also marks our 35th anniversary this June! What better way to celebrate than to go BIG? As part of American Honda’s East Region, Scott Honda registered 4 separate projects during Team Week of Service, June 7-16.

Team Scott's 5th annual collection of a childhood favorite, Peanut Butter & Jelly!

Our collection benefits the Chester County Food Bank for their Better Together Community Food Drive. The goal is to fill the food bank with this easy-to-make, protein packed staple, to ensure meal stability for local kids over the summer break from school.

Team Scott delivered our collection on Weigh-In Day, June 7th. With the help of T-Rex we officially kick off our Team Week of Service, proving once and for all that you don't need long arms to lend a helping hand.

To date, Scott Honda has donated 1,249 POUNDS of PB&J to the Better Together drive!

Volunteer Day at Friends Association for Care & Protection of Children

Friends Association is the oldest continuously operating child welfare agency in Pennsylvania. They provide temporary shelter for local families facing homelessness - the number one reason children are removed from their parents.

Team Scott planned to revitalize their facility by doing some outdoor painting, but Mother Nature rained us out. Instead, our group spent time making light work of the many behind-the-scenes tasks that help this organization accomplish their goal of keeping families in tact and with dignity.

Scott Honda is proud to support our community partner Friends Association, in their mission to provide Hope, Help, and Home, end the stigma and break the cycle of homelessness for families in need.

Team Scott PAW-sitively loves our four-legged friends!

Once again, we visited Brandywine Valley SPCA for our highly-anticipated Volunteer Day. As the first open-admission, no-kill animal shelter in PA, their mission to advocate for animals is dear to our hearts.

Our team began the day planting a flower bed by the new outdoor cat habitat and helping set up for Critter Camp. We exercised dogs and socialized with cats and ended our visit by treating all the good boys and good girls in the shelter to a fresh, handmade peanut butter sandwich "cookie."

Team Scott delivered a collection of goodies to help fill the treat cupboard and recycled newspapers BVSPCA uses for respiratory-friendly kitty litter. We also learned that there are many items the shelter needs to operate on a daily basis, some that might not be the first to come to mind.

Find out which pet supplies BVSPCA is always accepting to maintain comfortable shelter for pets during their stay.

Scott Honda is a 25+ year participant!

Team Scott has committed to roadside beautification through the PennDOT Adopt-A-Highway Program for nearly three decades. Trash cleanup on our two mile stretch of Westtown Road in West Goshen occurs a few times a year, but always as a part of Team Week of Service.

We appreciate the courtesy of drivers passing by as our crew works to collect litter along the route in our community that leads to our dealership on Autopark Boulevard.
